Inspired by my trips to “Miatas at the Gap” in North Carolina, I designed a topographical map of the most popular road up there: The Tail of the Dragon US 129. These maps are milled out of solid walnut and oiled with my favorite finish, Rubio Monocoat. It features the road itself from the southern intersection at the gas station up to where the road meets Chillhowee Lake. The Calderwood Dam is also featured, which is the dam you can see from the overlook.
